These are the pro shot rehearsals for The Smashing Pumpkins 1993 appearance on Saturday Night Live. I do not know the lineage of this video as it was purchased on ebay without any source information. I can tell you that it was pro shot and mixed onto VHS.
From the copy I own, I transferred it from VHS to DVD using a JVC HR-A5910 Hi-Fi 4 Head VCR onto DVD-R using a Pioneer DVR-310 DVD Recorder. I then added chapter marks and a title page in iMovie/iDVD.
Please note that the first few minutes of the video have no audio, as the microphones had not been turned on yet.
If a better quality version exists, I hope someone will share it, but I've yet to see anyone posting this at all.
