The 2nd show at the Stage de France, each one awaited a different setlist compared to the day before, but separate Out Of Control which replaces I Will Follow it is a large disappointment for everyone, with very a song in less, All I Want is You...
U2.com announced Bad in the setlist, but there still, disappointment...
This known as, the performance of this show is still better than that of the day before, and undoubtedly one of more moving versions of Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own is played this evening, with in snippet it from now on traditonnel Black Hills Of Dakota but more especially an operatic aria, Torna has Surriento of Ernesto de Curtis.

The sound used here is the best in circulation at the moment this dvd was carried out, namely source DAT recorded by Stanislas. Unfortunately, the quality of this bootleg is not better than that of July 9, especially because of some individuals who take pleasure to howl at times however moving, like the snippets of Sometimes You Can't Make It One Your Own, which they waste completely... But when the public does not obstruct, the sound is quite clear, Bono's voice is perfectly audible and without echo. A very good sound for a dvd, environment in premium.

The picture quality is variable according to cameras', a general way, very clear, except obviously for films resulting from numerical cameras. In all the cases, each source results from its Master tape > DVD.

Direction

Mix of 7 cameras (5 miniDV, 1 microMV and 1 Hi8mm) and of some digicams, hardest for this dvd was all the same to make it complete.... Because none films used is complete, the majority last between 30 min and 1 hour, and that often falls on the same titles, namely 1st. Thus, over the first 30 minutes of this dvd, not time to be bored, the 7 cameras are there, the realization is quite dynamic. But after Love and Peace or Else, the situation is spoiled, and the video is mainly Fredburgo tape which saves really this dvd while enabling him to be complete. The large black spots, not having almost any film, are One, All because Of You, and With Or Without You which it mainly filmed by 2 digicams, not very pretty to see, but at least it is there. When Fanny arrives on stage, the businesses are arranged and the digicams multiply finally !

Individual description
Coconut tape (MiniDV)
1st DV that it was given to me to see for this concert, filmed by the same taper than the 2 Bercy 2001. Large disappointment however, only the first 33 minutes are filmed, safety was not tender with this concert, and Coconut is not the only victim. Filmed from Edge side (with 8:00, in rather low steps), the zooms are unfortunately rare, yes, in stadium one is immediately far.

Into_The_Light (Jvc gr.-d93e)
It had very envisaged in advance, for it it would be Larry, and it dared to hope that other people would film the other musicians unfortunately... half-failure. This "taper" thus filmed only Larry during 95% of her film... Its video camera was hidden in a biscuits box and it was supported on rambarde, in the steps Edge side, with 9:00. The result is a film which all alone is not very interesting (only Larry, is necessary to like), and which especially does not shake badly...

Popazerty (Sony Dcr Trv 33e)
Its film appears little on the mix, and due, it lasted 30 on the whole min, including 10 min damaged, problem with DV tape ... and it is a pity well because it is very an owl film, Adam side, in rather low platform, with 4:00. He is in particular of an enormous utility on Yahweh and Vertigo 2.

Galparra (Sony DCR HC40)
This Spanish spontaneously contacted me by seeing that I carried out one mix, and sent its DVD to me "if that could help"... a film of 1 hour, interesting, but unfortunately with a rather bad site, far opposite the scene, high in steps, slightly side Adam (with 5:30), and thus obstructed by this excécrable post.... result, one seldom sees the group in truth, but of beautiful plans of the screens, or some broad extra plans are used.

Fredburgo (Mvx10i)
Let us say the whole Net, Fredburgo saved me my DVD ! With him only it could film 1h44 concert (a record !), and thus a support of choice offers to me, because in more it very filmed very well ! Located side Adam, with 3:00, his camera is very stable, except on the enormous zooms, which miss clearness very slightly, but it does not misuse at all and very often prefers the average zooms it, excel choice! Small regret, its film is a little darker than the others, and various captures of its DV could not really arrange this concern.... but that almost does not obstruct in fact not!

Wonderdoudou (MiniDV panasonic NGS3)
This film was on emule since August 2005, perhaps even front, but nobody could finish it... I was rather desperate to have to finish my mix without him, because the outline had the good air... suddenly when at a few hours to finalize my mix, it is announced to me that this DV is available for trade ! A good DV of 1 hour, which for once does not film only the first 30 mn. Located in high platform side Adam, with 4:00.

Vertizoo83 (Hi8mm)
Receipt very late in my mix, I finally kept only very few things of this film which is quite similar to Coconut one, on the one hand because it is filmed from the same place except for some armchairs (Edge Side, with 9:00), and on the other hand because just like that of Coconut, it stops at the end of 30 min, safety obliges...

Digicams (APN): Eireann & Fredalex
Together they filmed almost all the show with the numeric camera ... good solution not to have any lack on the final DVD, even if it is "only" of the digicam... From the end of the small stage on Edge side, they offer large plans of super quality for Electric Co or Zoo Station in particular. They also save With gold Without You !

Antoine: too poor quality to keep too much of this numerical camera of it, I let myself convince to keep all the same this mythical swinging of the arms of all crowd on New Year' S Day.
