In regards to source material, we had a station master of the show (from a SF PBS source) and a master VHS copy of the rebroadcast from 1982. The sound on the
station master was very good (the best I've ever heard), but the picture was a bit "soft" and had a some sligh "jitter" to it probably due to the age of the tape (which might have streched over time). The VHS copy was
much better in regards to sharpeness and stability, so that is what we used for the video portion (which was cleaned up a bit with saturation and contrast filters).
The audio comes from the station master, which was also cleaned up a bit.
