This is a great show. It's a screen shot that is just as good as the Camden show in terms of picture and sound quality. I tested this on my "62 Sony big screen and there is a tiny bit off fuziness (which is common except in cases where the show is sourced from a digital master). It was crystal clear on the "27 Sony in the bedroom. The picture is not perfectly square on the tv screen though - it's a little off kilter on the top and right side. However, when you watch it on the tv, you hardly notice that. Actually, you can't see it a lot of the time because the edges of the picture are black already.
Dave's voice sounds a lot better than the Camden show. The Camden show was the fourth show in five nights and the band played the night before. The Hartford show is the third show in five nights and the band had the night off the night prior. Dave is in his 40s and he smokes. That night off makes a big difference. Don't ask me why, but he breaks out the Spanish a coupel of times during this show (why in Hartford, CT?).
There is not a single audio glitch and other than the aforementioned off kilter picture, the only other negative thing to mention is that someone passes in front of the video camera during the show about 25 times. This sounds bad, but it literally only lasts for a split second and is not annoying at all. At one point, some guy stands in front of the camera for about a minute. It almost looks like someone standing in front of you at a movie theatre.

This show has an interactive menu and chapter points at the beginning of each song. It was encoded with Canopus Procoder using 2-pass VBR with the maximum bitrate set at 9,200 and average bitrate at 6,270 (actual bitrate of 6,669). I transferred it from VHS to the harddrive using a Canopus ADVC-100 and captured and edited it with Vegas Video 3. It was authored using DVDit.
