MÖTLEY CRUE - The Beat, Detroit TV

MOTLEY CRUE September or October 1985

This dvd is a nice little gem. This is the Crue guest hosting the Detroit only video program that was on for a couple of years called "The Beat". It was put together between the now defunct WLLZ 97.7 FM radio station and Detroit Public TV channel 56. They would show popular videos from the time and a local DJ usually hosted the show. But from time to time if the right act was in town on tour they would get to do the honors. This was the Crues 2nd time (the first was during SATD and I don't have that one) and they did it in their full Theater of Pain garb from the backstage area at either Joe Louis Arena or Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor. I recently aquired a master tape recorded off the original broadcast and have put it in it's entirety on a DVD with the promos and all. Kind of neat and definetly rare in this kind of condition!
