U2 - Old Grey Whistle Test, Balmoral TV Studio, Belfast

U2 Balmoral TV Studio 8th March 1987.


I posted the audio from this a few months ago, I said then I would post the video as soon as I had the equipment.
So here it is. I got the VHS tape in 1987, from an advert in the NME. I believe it's 2nd gen. Exit & In God's Country were broadcast on the Whistle Test in 1987 in the UK, the rest were not.

The tape came with Pride from the Self Aid gig in Ireland 17/05/1996 and Trip Through your Wires from the TV GA GA show already on it, so I left them on and added a few other clips that I had recorded over the years.

The Electric Co. clip was from A documentary on Island Records, it's from a gig at the London Lyceum 07-Sep-1980. Does anyone know if anymore footage is available from this show?

The Lost Highway is from the last episode of the Tube, a British music show. The interview and The Ground Beneath Her Feet is taken from TFI Friday on St Patricks Day 1999. This is very funny, Edge & Bono on top form and a very cool acoustic version of The Ground Beneath Her Feet.

I have made a really lame menu for this DVD and their is no artwork. Feel free to do what you want with this DVD. It would be nice to have some decent artwork from somebody who knows what they are doing!
